Veteran Bollywood actor Bharat Kapoor, aged 80, passed away on Monday. Although the exact cause of his death has not been officially disclosed, reports suggest he had been unwell for the past four days.
Kapoor was hospitalized at Sion Hospital in Mumbai. His family and close associates are yet to release an official statement regarding his demise. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit confirmed the sad news on social media, expressing his grief over the loss and remembering Kapoor as a great human being.
Known for his significant contributions to the Hindi entertainment industry, Bharat Kapoor was a familiar face on both television and in films during the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. Over his nearly four-decade-long acting career, he starred in various notable projects such as “Noorie” (1979), “Ram Balram” (1980), “Love Story” (1981), and “Khuda Gawah” (1992), among others.
