Vice President C P Radhakrishnan and Bolivian Vice President Edmand Lara Montano met during the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi to explore collaboration in solar energy, critical minerals, digitalization, higher education, and healthcare. They expressed satisfaction with the growing bilateral relations and deliberated on strengthening ties in international forums. Montano’s visit to India for the summit was welcomed by Union Minister Satish Chandra Dubey.
The Ministry of External Affairs highlighted the warm welcome extended to Montano by Minister Dubey, signaling a new phase in the digital partnership between India and Bolivia. Last November, India’s Minister of State for External Affairs attended the inauguration of Bolivia’s President Rodrigo Paz Pereira, affirming India’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier congratulated Pereira on his election victory in Bolivia in October 2025.
PM Modi emphasized the longstanding friendly relations between India and Bolivia and expressed eagerness to deepen cooperation for mutual progress and prosperity in the future. The leaders discussed avenues for collaboration in various sectors, including solar energy, critical minerals, digitalization, higher education, and healthcare, aiming to strengthen their partnership further.
