To Lam and PM Modi agreed to elevate defense and security cooperation to a strategic level to promote peace and stability. They also emphasized the role of science, technology, and digital transformation in fostering cooperation between the two nations. Additionally, they pledged to enhance economic cooperation, trade, and investment through connectivity and market access expansion.
The Vietnamese President affirmed the commitment to collaborating at regional and international forums to uphold peace, stability, and development. He expressed gratitude for the warm reception in India and highlighted the importance of cultural, educational, and people-to-people exchanges in strengthening bilateral relations. Vietnam reiterated its support for India’s increased engagement in multilateral platforms to address common regional challenges.
