National Award-winning actor Vikrant Massey is set to portray spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in the upcoming drama “White.” Vikrant recently met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to play the spiritual leader’s role.
During a satsang, Vikrant emotionally shared his feelings, stating, “I got the opportunity to play your role… I got the chance in this life to portray a person who is my Gurudev, my home, my guide, my everything… so I’m really grateful.”
“White” is directed by Montoo Bassi and produced by Siddharth Anand under Marflix Pictures, in collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films and Peacecraft Pictures. Vikrant prepared for the role by meeting Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in October 2024 and immersing himself in the Art of Living Ashram in Bengaluru.
To embody Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Vikrant underwent a physical transformation, including growing his hair and altering his appearance. The film’s principal photography is currently taking place in Colombia, with Vikrant also lined up for projects like “Talaakhon Mein Ek” and “Yaar Jigri.”
