Actor Vikrant Massey is set to appear in Netflix’s upcoming romantic drama “Musafir Cafe” alongside Vedika Pinto and Mahima Makwana. The film, scheduled for release on July 24, showcases the intertwined lives of three strangers in the picturesque settings of Bhopal and Mussoorie.
The narrative of “Musafir Cafe” revolves around Chander Mohan Sharma, played by Massey, who embarks on a quest for purpose and a life that resonates with him. Vedika Pinto portrays Sudha, a strong-willed woman shaping her own destiny, while Mahima Makwana embodies Preeti, whose quiet strength influences the unfolding story.
The series, created by Sharanya Rajgopal and directed by Ruchir Arun, is an adaptation of Divya Prakash Dubey’s beloved novel. Featuring actors like Adil Hussain, Rajeev Siddhartha, Anubha Fatehpuria, Loveleen Mishra, and Sadia Siddiqui, “Musafir Cafe” delves into the transformative journeys of its characters in unexpected ways.
Vikrant Massey also has other projects in the pipeline, including “Yaar Jigri,” “Talaakhon Mein Ek,” and the international thriller “White,” where he portrays spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. This film sheds light on the spiritual leader’s role in peace initiatives that contributed to ending Colombia’s prolonged civil conflict.
