Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Joint General Secretary, Surendra Jain, has expressed approval for the requirement that the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust must demonstrate a “devotion to Lord Ram.” This decision follows concerns regarding alleged embezzlement of donations at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple. The Trust has established a search committee, led by Justice Pramod Kohli, to identify a dedicated CEO capable of efficiently managing administrative tasks.
Surendra Jain emphasized the importance of selecting a CEO with a strong commitment to Lord Ram, suggesting that other competencies can be developed. He expressed optimism that the committee will promptly appoint a qualified CEO. Ahead of an upcoming VHP meeting in Delhi, Jain hinted at potential discussions regarding the alleged theft at the Ram Temple.
In response to queries about changes in the issuance of VIP passes for temple visits, Surendra Jain affirmed the transparency of the process. He clarified that the issuance of VIP passes is solely the responsibility of the officials from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Jain attributed the alterations in the pass issuance rules to the recent resignations of officials Champat Rai and Anil Mishra.
During a recent meeting of the Ram Temple Trust, Surendra Jain reported a harmonious atmosphere and unanimous acceptance of the resignations of General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Anil Mishra. Trustee Krishna Mohan has been requested to serve as the acting General Secretary until a permanent appointment is made. Members of the Trust expressed satisfaction with the ongoing investigation process, believing it is progressing appropriately.
