West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari cautioned Naoda MLA and Aam Janata Unnayan Party (AJUP) chief Humayun Kabir for delivering inflammatory public speeches, stating that action is being taken against him. Adhikari mentioned that FIRs have been initiated due to Kabir’s remarks aimed at influencing the Rejinagar Assembly by-election.

Adhikari highlighted that Kabir’s speeches crossed a line, prompting the initiation of legal proceedings. He emphasized that such behavior will not be tolerated and urged Kabir to exercise restraint in his public statements. The Chief Minister disclosed that FIRs have been filed against Kabir under specific sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for his controversial speeches.

Adhikari underscored that Kabir’s intentions were politically motivated, aiming to secure electoral gains through divisive tactics. He pointed out Kabir’s strategies to sway voters in the upcoming re-election in Rejinagar, emphasizing the misuse of communal sentiments for political advantage. Adhikari firmly warned Kabir to refrain from making inflammatory statements and urged him to reconsider his approach.
