A woman and her three-month-old daughter were reportedly abducted by a group of armed men who forcibly entered their house in Shivpuri. The incident, captured on CCTV, has raised concerns about law and order and crimes against women in Madhya Pradesh.
The victim’s mother, Neelam Guharia, filed a complaint stating that her 22-year-old daughter, Mehak, had been in a relationship with Pushpendra Chauhan for three years. Allegedly, Pushpendra, accompanied by eight to ten others, barged into the house, abused the family, and took Mehak and her infant in a white car.
Pushpendra, accused of harassment, allegedly assaulted the family, including shoving the infant and injuring Neelam and her husband. The police have registered a case against Pushpendra and his associates under relevant laws and are investigating the matter, prioritizing the safety of the woman and child.
CCTV footage of the masked men entering the house has circulated on social media, prompting police to form special teams to locate and apprehend the suspects. The investigation is ongoing to ensure justice in this disturbing case.
