In a tragic incident in rural Madhya Pradesh, a woman named Rachna Rajesh Lodhi, around 32 years old, and her two sons, Rishabh (5 years old) and Ram (2 years old), were discovered hanging in their home in a village near Rehli police station in Sagar district. The unsettling discovery was made by Rachna’s husband upon his return home on Thursday night.
Rachna’s husband, Rajesh Lodhi, and his brother had been out irrigating their fields earlier that evening and returned home around 9:45 pm. Upon entering the house, Rajesh found his wife and children hanging from different locations within the home using separate ropes. Despite efforts to rescue them, all three had already passed away due to asphyxiation.
Authorities have registered a case of unnatural death, with a Forensic Science Laboratory team collecting evidence at the scene. Post-mortem examinations have been conducted, indicating death by hanging-induced suffocation. While no suicide note was found and the room’s door was unlocked, investigators are exploring potential domestic issues as a factor in the incident.
Family members have expressed shock, denying any known disputes within the household. However, police are considering domestic discord as a possible cause. Statements from relatives, neighbors, and villagers are being gathered to determine the motive behind the tragic event, with authorities examining all possibilities, including the likelihood of suicide.
