A woman, identified as Seema Kurmi (Patel), tragically lost her life in a car fire on the Sagar-Damoh highway near the Chana Toriya toll plaza in Madhya Pradesh. The incident occurred early Saturday morning as the family was traveling in their car. The vehicle suddenly caught fire near the toll plaza, engulfing it in flames rapidly.

Eyewitnesses recounted the horrifying speed at which the fire spread, leaving no chance for rescue. Seema, who had earlier sought medical help for chest pain, was unable to escape the blaze. While her husband and two others managed to flee, she remained trapped inside the burning car as onlookers witnessed the tragic event unfold.

Local authorities and rescue teams responded swiftly to the emergency but were unable to save Seema. The police have initiated a thorough investigation into the cause of the fire, considering possibilities such as a short circuit or collision. Forensic examinations are underway to determine the exact circumstances leading to the fatal incident.
