Notably, a substantial allocation of Rs 5.08 lakh crore has been designated under the gender budget, marking the largest such allocation to date and showcasing a strong dedication to women’s empowerment. Additionally, the budget includes funding for the construction of girls’ hostels in every district, amounting to Rs 10,000 crore, aimed at supporting rural girls in pursuing higher education without hindrances.
