India, with the largest contingent of 219 athletes, demonstrated its para athletics prowess at the event. Having topped the medals table in the previous edition, Indian athletes showcased dominance on the opening day. They clinched numerous gold medals in various disciplines like high jump, discus throw, and middle-distance races, highlighting the country’s strength in para athletics.
The competition witnessed a mix of Indian and international athletes excelling in different events. Coaches and support staff, though limited in number, provided enthusiastic encouragement from the sidelines.
