Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently inaugurated the KDSG Super Speciality Hospital in Dadri, Greater Noida. During the event, he emphasized the importance of doctors’ conduct and confidence in treating patients, drawing parallels with cricket legend Kapil Dev’s impact on opponents. Adityanath highlighted the significance of combining medicine and prayers for faster patient recovery and the hospital’s reputation growth.
Former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev and Gautam Buddh Nagar MP Mahesh Sharma attended the inauguration event. Adityanath praised the establishment of the hospital, stating it would offer modern medical facilities to National Capital Region residents. He stressed the necessity of quality healthcare services and the role of private sector participation in expanding access to such services.
Adityanath also mentioned the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, a healthcare scheme benefiting millions nationwide. He underscored the importance of transparency and healthy competition in healthcare services to enhance service delivery. The Chief Minister highlighted the growth in medical infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh, including the establishment of numerous medical colleges under the ‘One District, One Medical College’ policy.
The KDSG Super Speciality Hospital, costing around Rs 200 crore, boasts 300 beds and advanced facilities in cardiology, oncology, and neurology. It is expected to create job opportunities for nearly 1,000 individuals in the region. Kapil Dev expressed gratitude towards Adityanath for the initiative and pledged to uphold the government’s trust by setting new healthcare benchmarks. He emphasized the hospital’s role in elevating Uttar Pradesh’s reputation nationally and internationally.
