Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his vision of turning West Bengal from the “national crime capital” to the “national cultural capital” if the BJP secures victory in the upcoming elections. Adityanath emphasized the need for a BJP-led government in the state to address issues like illegal infiltration and women’s safety.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Bolpur, Birbhum district, Adityanath criticized the current Trinamool Congress rule, highlighting the challenges faced by farmers in West Bengal. He compared the agricultural situation in West Bengal unfavorably to Uttar Pradesh, where he claimed agricultural productivity has seen significant improvements.
Adityanath accused the ruling Trinamool Congress of engaging in appeasement politics and neglecting the welfare of the people. He also condemned the silence of other political parties on issues like the persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh, contrasting it with the BJP’s proactive stance on such matters.
Promising to address illegal infiltration, Adityanath assured that a BJP government in West Bengal would prioritize the rights and well-being of its citizens over intruders. He pledged to halt illegal infiltration and ensure that government resources are directed towards the people of West Bengal, not outsiders.
