Andhra Pradesh’s YSR Congress, the main opposition party, has accused Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of using institutions to drop all cases against himself. YSRCP General Secretary Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy stated that they would escalate the matter to the highest court. Sudhakar Reddy criticized Naidu for allegedly manipulating systems and influencing institutions to close cases against him, breaching bail conditions.
Chandrababu Naidu, according to Sudhakar Reddy, has been playing multiple roles in cases against him, including that of the accused, investigator, advocate, and judge, which goes against democratic principles. The YSRCP leader highlighted instances where police, who initially filed cases against Naidu, later cleared him under the guise of a mistake of fact, indicating undue influence. Sudhakar Reddy pointed out various high-value scams allegedly involving Naidu, accusing him of misusing his power to evade legal scrutiny.
Sudhakar Reddy emphasized that despite the closure of cases by the police at Naidu’s behest, they would persist in seeking justice through legal channels. He vowed to challenge the actions of Naidu and implicated officials, asserting that accountability would prevail. The YSR Congress leader expressed determination to expose Naidu’s alleged manipulations and ensure that he and others involved face consequences for their actions.
