A day after students protesting NEET paper leaks faced police action in the national Capital, the YSR Congress Party emphasized the need for responsible and sensitive treatment of student protests. The party urged the NDA government to address the genuine concerns of students and work towards effective solutions.
Highlighting the importance of upholding democracy visibly, the YSRCP stressed on the significance of listening to students’ genuine grievances and striving for constructive resolutions. The party emphasized that peaceful protests are a fundamental right in a democratic society and urged all parties to maintain peace and restraint during demonstrations.
Addressing the issue of the NEET paper leak, the YSRCP expressed concerns about the impact on students’ and parents’ trust in the examination system. The party called for comprehensive reforms to enhance transparency, security, and accountability in exam conduct to restore confidence in the system.
The YSR Congress Party also raised concerns about alleged irregularities in the DSC examination in Andhra Pradesh. Emphasizing the need for an impartial investigation by an independent body, the party called for a thorough probe into leaks, irregularities, and malpractices to ensure the integrity of the examination process.
YSRCP reiterated the importance of safeguarding students’ futures, whether in NEET or DSC exams, and emphasized the government’s duty to uncover the truth, rectify systemic flaws, and take decisive action against those responsible for any misconduct.
