YSR Congress Party’s N. Lakshmi Parvathi criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu for allegedly causing discord within the family of YSRCP president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Parvathi accused Chandrababu of replicating his actions with the family of former Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao (NTR).
Chandrababu Naidu was accused by Parvathi of entering politics through backdoor means and taking control of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and power from NTR. She highlighted that Chandrababu had never won an election independently. Additionally, she condemned Chandrababu’s efforts to promote his son Nara Lokesh, labeling him as unqualified for high aspirations.
Parvathi praised Jagan Mohan Reddy for supporting women’s empowerment by implementing 50% reservations for women. In contrast, she criticized Chandrababu for allegedly neglecting women’s welfare in various schemes like Self Help Groups and free bus travel. Parvathi also claimed that Jagan Mohan Reddy’s proposed project, MAVIGUN (Machilipatnam, Vijayawada, Guntur), is more practical than Chandrababu’s Amaravati project.
