YSR Congress Party leader Ambati Rambabu affirmed the party’s commitment to standing by farmers affected by land acquisition in Amaravati. He stated that the party would pursue justice through legal channels and challenge any unlawful actions by the government. Rambabu, along with other party members and farmers, criticized the government for its alleged coercive tactics in acquiring land for the capital’s development.

Former Minister Perni Nani, MLC Monditoka Arun, and YSRCP coordinators Donthireddy Vemareddy, Diamond Babu, and Lella Appi Reddy, among others, attended a meeting of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) Farmers Protection Committee. Ambati accused the government of manipulating land acquisition processes, engaging in corruption, and unfairly distributing land to benefit certain individuals. He highlighted discrepancies in land allotments and questioned the undervaluation of farmers’ plots in comparison to market rates.

Ambati emphasized that YSR Congress Party would continue advocating for affected farmers and provide them with legal assistance. He warned of approaching the Supreme Court if necessary and reiterated the party’s stance against perceived government injustices. The party vowed to persist in its legal and democratic efforts until justice is served to the farmers of Amaravati.
