Zeenat Aman recently shared insights into filming a memorable scene from the 1978 movie ‘Don.’ Despite the seamless appearance on screen, she revealed the difficulties faced while pushing Amitabh Bachchan in a wheelchair during a crucial sequence. In an Instagram post, Zeenat reminisced about the character Roma’s clever escape with Don from a hospital, highlighting the behind-the-scenes challenges.

The veteran actress expressed comfort while working on the film due to her prior collaborations with the cast and crew. She particularly admired her character, Roma, describing her as smart, daring, and effortlessly stylish. However, Zeenat emphasized the challenges encountered during the filming process, especially maneuvering a cumbersome wheelchair with Amitabh Bachchan’s weight.

Zeenat Aman humorously referred to the wheelchair as a “relic” and shared the demanding experience of maintaining a composed demeanor while exerting great effort behind the scenes. Despite the challenges, she expressed interest in watching another reboot of ‘Don,’ having enjoyed the previous adaptations. The original ‘Don’ movie, featuring Amitabh Bachchan in a dual role, remains a significant milestone in Indian cinema, spawning a successful franchise with modern remakes.
