She emphasized Wangchuk’s deteriorating health due to the fast and his refusal to end it until the government engages in dialogue. Aman lauded Wangchuk’s achievements, including his role in educational reforms in Ladakh and environmental activism.
Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike, now in its 17th day at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, is part of a protest by the Cockroach Janta Party for educational reforms. The initiative has garnered support from figures like Uddhav Thackeray of Shiv Sena (UBT), who has urged Wangchuk to conclude his strike for his well-being.
