While the plot details are tightly under wraps, reports suggest that Jatadhara will be a gripping thriller packed with action, mystery, and a whole new avatar of Sonakshi Sinha. The movie marks a fresh collaboration between Sudheer Babu and Zee Studios, setting high expectations among fans.

Why is This Debut Special?

Sonakshi’s entry into South cinema has been long overdue! Did you know she was once offered a role opposite Kamal Haasan in the Tamil film Hey Ram? Unfortunately, that project never materialized. But now, with Jatadhara, she’s finally making her regional cinema debut — and it’s happening in style!

Cast & Crew

  • Sonakshi Sinha (Debut in Telugu)
  • Sudheer Babu (Lead Actor)
  • Produced by Prerna Arora
  • Presented by Zee Studios
  • Shooting Start Date: March 8, 2025

Sonakshi’s Recent Projects

Fans recently saw Sonakshi in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, where she played dual roles of Rehana Jahan and Fareedan Jahan. With her powerful performance still fresh in the audience’s minds, this Telugu debut is expected to showcase an entirely new side of the actress.

Upcoming Projects

Apart from Jatadhara, Sonakshi will also be seen with her husband Zaheer Iqbal in Tu Hai Meri Kiran, though the film is facing legal issues over alleged copyright infringement. She is also working on the thriller Nikita Roy and the Book of Darkness.

With her impeccable acting skills and bold career moves, Sonakshi Sinha is proving she’s ready to take on new territories. Will Jatadhara mark the start of Sonakshi’s South cinema reign? Only time will tell — but this debut is definitely one to watch out for!
