Madhya Pradesh Government Raises Remuneration for Contractual Workers Annually

Bhopal, June 8 (IANS) In a significant relief for contractual workers, the Madhya Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has decided to increase the remuneration of contractual officers and employees by 4.46 per cent annually. The Finance Department issued orders to this effect, making the hike effective retrospectively from April 1, 2026.The decision is expected to directly benefit around 1 lakh contractual officers and employees working in various state government departments.
