New Delhi, March 18 (IANS) Lok Sabha took up voting on the Demands for Grants for the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare for the financial year 2026-27 on Wednesday.The Ministry has been allocated Rs 1,40,529 crore in the Union Budget, reflecting a 5.4 per cent increase over the revised estimates of 2025-26.Nearly 93 per cent of this allocation is directed to the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, which oversees farmer-centric schemes, subsidies, crop insurance, and welfare …
