New Delhi, Dec 31 (IANS) The Central Government has notified the commencement of select provisions of the National Sports Governance Act, 2025. The law will now come into force from January 1, 2026, and will govern the functioning of the national sports federations in the country.The National Sports Governance Act, 2025 (25 of 2025) was notified in the Official Gazette on August 18, 2025.
