Shillong, June 11 (IANS) James Sangma of the National People’s Party (NPP) was on Thursday elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Meghalaya after no other candidate filed nomination papers for the lone parliamentary seat.The election to the Rajya Sabha seat was scheduled to be held on June 18.
