Gandhinagar, April 14 (IANS) A State Reserve Police (SRP) jawan died by suicide while on duty at the New Secretariat complex in Gandhinagar, police said on Tuesday.The deceased has been identified as Rajendrasinh Gohil (49), a personnel of SRP Group-9 based in Vadodara and a native of Bhavnagar district.He was deployed at Gate No. 3 of the high-security Secretariat premises at the time of the incident.According to police, Gohil had taken charge of his shift around midnight from a reliever.
