New Delhi, Feb 17 (IANS) India’s shift towards a circular economy in agriculture is aimed at turning “waste to wealth” as the country’s 350 million tonnes of annual agricultural residues have the potential to generate over 18,000 MW of power every year, according to an official statement issued on Tuesday.In addition to energy generation, these residues can be used to produce nutrient-rich organic fertilisers.
