London, May 19 (IANS) A 23-year-old councillor, Tushar Kumar, has created history by becoming the youngest Indian-origin mayor in the United Kingdom after being appointed mayor of Elstree and Borehamwood.Originally hailing from Haryana, Kumar was officially appointed at the council’s Mayor-Making Ceremony held at Fairway Hall in Borehamwood on May 13.Several councillors, civic leaders, community organisations, residents, family members and friends attended the event.Taking to his social media …
