Actress Maanvi Gagroo, gearing up for the release of ‘Heer Sara Aur Pondicherry,’ shared insights about her character. Describing her role as stubborn and jovial, she portrays a character who views the world optimistically. Directed by Kartik Chaudhry, the film depicts a rebellious journey to Pondicherry by two women, exploring themes of freedom and self-discovery.

Maanvi expressed her attraction to the script’s light-hearted yet moving nature. She found the story simple yet emotionally impactful, resonating with her. Her character, Heer, is depicted as fearless, instinctive, and unapologetically true to herself. Heer’s carefree nature and self-assurance, despite consequences, captivated Maanvi.

The film subtly addresses societal expectations on women at various life stages. Maanvi hopes the narrative inspires women to embrace travel and self-exploration. She believes that solo travel offers a unique growth opportunity often missed by women. Additionally, the film explores themes of freedom, resilience, and self-discovery.

Maanvi also discussed her on-screen partnership with Patralekhaa and how their off-screen bond naturally evolved. Their characters’ relationship arc mirrors their real-life journey from acquaintances to friends. The film, produced by Maghaa Creations, Next Level Productions, and Opticus Inc., is set to release on May 29, 2026.
