The buzz around No Entry 2 is gaining momentum, and it looks like the casting puzzle is finally beginning to take shape. If recent reports are to be believed, Tamannaah Bhatia may be stepping into a role reminiscent of the sultry and mysterious character portrayed by Bipasha Basu in the 2005 hit No Entry.

A New Face for a Classic Role

Tamannaah Bhatia, known for her versatility across Bollywood and South Indian cinema, is reportedly set to play a lead in No Entry 2. According to multiple reports, her character will echo the charm and intrigue of Bipasha Basu’s role from the first film—a performance that added a distinct flavor to the original’s madcap comedy. While the official confirmation from the filmmakers is still awaited, industry insiders suggest Tamannaah has already signed on and is eager to explore the comedy genre, marking a new chapter in her filmography.

Star-Studded Ensemble and Big Shoes to Fill

The sequel brings together a fresh trio of male leads: Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh, all set to step into the shoes once worn by Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan. The original film’s ensemble cast, which included Lara Dutta, Esha Deol, Celina Jaitly, and Bipasha Basu, was one of its major draws, and the sequel aims to recreate that magic with a new generation of stars.

Besides Tamannaah, names like Aditi Rao Hydari and Manushi Chhillar have also surfaced as potential additions to the cast, though nothing has been officially confirmed yet. The prospect of multiple leading ladies hints at a narrative style similar to the original, promising plenty of chaos, confusion, and comedic twists.

Production Updates and Release Timeline

Director Anees Bazmee, riding high on the success of his recent film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has already begun location scouting, with Greece being one of the prime spots for the film’s shoot. Producer Boney Kapoor has confirmed that filming is expected to begin around June or July 2025, with a targeted Diwali release on October 26, 2025. The production team is aiming for a tight schedule, planning to wrap up shooting by June next year, which aligns perfectly with the 20th anniversary of the original film’s release.

Legacy of ‘No Entry’ and Expectations from the Sequel

No Entry (2005) is remembered as one of Bollywood’s most successful and beloved comedies, known for its witty dialogues, catchy music, and ensemble performances. The film’s plot revolved around marital mix-ups, mistaken identities, and a series of hilarious misunderstandings, with Bipasha Basu’s character adding a glamorous twist to the chaos.

With Tamannaah Bhatia reportedly taking on a similar role, expectations are high for her to bring a fresh yet familiar energy to the sequel. The combination of a new cast, exotic locations, and Bazmee’s signature comedic style has already generated significant buzz among fans and industry watchers alike.

What to Look Forward To

  • Tamannaah Bhatia’s comedic debut in a role inspired by Bipasha Basu
  • A star-studded cast featuring Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh
  • Exotic shooting locations in Greece and a festive Diwali 2025 release
  • The promise of a madcap romantic comedy that pays homage to the original while introducing new twists

As the makers gear up for production, No Entry 2 is shaping up to be one of Bollywood’s most awaited comedies, blending nostalgia with new-age star power. All eyes are now on the official announcements and the first glimpses from the sets as the countdown to Diwali 2025 begins.
