The 11th edition of the Raisina Dialogue, India’s prominent conference on geopolitics and geo-economics, will start in New Delhi on Thursday. Since its inception in 2016, this annual event has become a key platform for discussions on global affairs. Organized by the Observer Research Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the three-day conference will bring together global leaders, policymakers, and experts to address critical global challenges.
This dialogue has been a forum for in-depth conversations on changing geopolitical dynamics, climate issues, technological advancements, economic resilience, and the future of global governance structures. It plays a significant role in fostering debate and collaboration on matters influencing the global order. The theme for the 2026 edition is ‘Samskara – Assertion, Accommodation, Advancement,’ reflecting the current global context and emphasizing the importance of identity, diversity, and progress in civilizations.
Notable foreign dignitaries are expected to participate in the conference, with high-level delegations from various countries confirmed to attend. Bhutan’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Finland’s President Alexander Stubb are among the distinguished guests. The United States will be represented by Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau. Additionally, ministers from Seychelles, Mauritius, and Sri Lanka are scheduled to join the event in New Delhi.
