The accused, identified as 30-year-old Shanawaz, has been apprehended by Ghaziabad Police, with murder charges included in the FIR. The incident occurred on July 15 around 10 p.m., where the girl was pushed to her death after being taken to the fourth floor by the accused.
The victim’s mother revealed that her daughter was abducted while buying milk from a nearby shop. She mentioned a prior altercation between Shanawaz and her daughter, indicating a history of stalking. The accused had reportedly been harassing the girl for several weeks, leading to this tragic outcome.
In another distressing event from Lalitpur district, a 19-year-old woman was abducted and gang-raped by her alleged boyfriend and his friends in a moving car. The victim, who had been in a relationship with the accused, Badal Raja, for four years, was taken away by him and his associates. The victim’s mother filed a complaint, resulting in the arrest of two suspects, while a third was caught after sustaining a gunshot wound during a police encounter.
