A tragic incident unfolded in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, as a 16-year-old boy reportedly used a sharp-edged weapon to kill his elder brother, sister-in-law, and three-year-old nephew around 3 A.M. on Monday. Upon notification, the police swiftly responded, initiating an investigation and sending the bodies for post-mortem examination. The accused was apprehended following the gruesome crime.
Preliminary findings by the police point to a family dispute as the motive behind the murders. The victims have been identified as Amit Gupta, his wife Ranjana Gupta, and their son Reyan Gupta. Legal actions have been initiated against the accused based on a complaint lodged by Amit Gupta’s father, with the recovery of the alleged murder weapon by the authorities.
The Bansgaon police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and are actively pursuing the case.
