A 17-year-old Class 10 student, Prosenjit Biswas, from Fultala in Baruipur, West Bengal, was tragically hacked to death following a dispute related to a football match. The incident, which occurred in the South 24 Parganas district, led to the arrest of three youths by the police.
The conflict stemmed from a heated argument Prosenjit had with local youths regarding a football game a few days prior. Allegedly, the accused individuals had been seeking revenge since the argument.
The three suspects lured Prosenjit and a friend to the Palpara area on Monday, where a confrontation ensued, resulting in a violent attack with sharp weapons. Prosenjit sustained a severe chest injury, while his friend was also seriously harmed during the altercation.
