A 24-year-old entrepreneur from Borsar village in Madhya Pradesh’s Burhanpur district is inspiring rural youth by establishing a banana chips startup in her hometown. Khushboo Patil, an MBA holder, worked in corporate companies in metropolitan cities before returning to her village. Motivated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, she started her banana chip business with government scheme support.
Khushboo’s startup, centered around local banana production, has not only provided her financial independence but has also created job opportunities for locals. Kishore Chaudhary, an employee at the unit, expressed gratitude for the employment opportunities within the village, eliminating the need to migrate for work.
Khushboo’s father, Yuvraj Patil, expressed pride in his daughter’s decision to return to the village and build a successful enterprise, benefiting both their family and the community through job creation. The entrepreneur credited PM Modi for promoting entrepreneurship among youth, encouraging self-reliance and community development.
Gajanand Patil, a village native, hailed Khushboo’s business as a source of pride for the entire locality, emphasizing the importance of more youth following her example and establishing their own ventures.
