The 85th edition of the All India Industrial Exhibition, known as ‘Numaish,’ will kick off on January 1 in Hyderabad. Telangana’s Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will inaugurate the renowned 45-day-long trade fair. Organized by the All India Industrial Exhibition Society (AIIES), the event will feature 1,050 stalls at Numaish Maidan.
The entry fee for the exhibition has been raised to Rs 50 per person from Rs 40, with free admission for children under five years old. State Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu highlighted the event’s legacy of promoting enterprise, culture, and community engagement. He emphasized that ‘Numaish’ serves as a platform for showcasing innovation, tradition, and affordability.
The exhibition will be open daily from 4 to 10.30 p.m., extending till 11 p.m. on weekends. Originating in 1938 to promote local goods, ‘Numaish’ has grown into a significant industrial exhibition. Despite disruptions in the past, the event has become a cherished tradition, attracting visitors from across Telangana and neighboring states.
