A two-day “Aajeevika Holi Mela” kicked off in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, filled with vibrant celebrations and a focus on women-led entrepreneurship. Organized by the Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission at the Old Sub-Divisional Magistrate Office, the event aims to empower rural women associated with self-help groups under the Aajeevika Mission. The mela features stalls selling herbal gulal, natural flower colors, and homemade products, drawing crowds from the district and neighboring areas.
Women entrepreneurs at the fair are crafting natural, chemical-free colors to ensure skin safety, promoting health-conscious and eco-friendly Holi celebrations.
