Actor Atharvaa Murali has finished dubbing for the upcoming romantic drama ‘Idhayam Murali’, directed by Aakash Baskaran. The film, starring Atharvaa Murali, Preity Mukhundhan, and Kayadu Lohar, is scheduled to premiere worldwide on July 10 this year. Dawn Pictures, the film’s production house, shared a video of Atharvaa completing his dubbing, expressing gratitude to him for his contribution to the project.
Earlier, a Behind The Scenes (BTS) video was released by the makers on Atharvaa’s birthday. Notably, Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil has also joined the cast, as revealed by Dawn Pictures. A video clip showcasing Fahadh Faasil shooting for the film and engaging with the crew was subsequently released.
The film, titled ‘Idhayam Murali’, has generated significant anticipation and is one of the most awaited releases of the year. Atharvaa, who portrays Idhayam Murali in the movie, dedicated it to individuals experiencing one-sided love, emphasizing the emotional depth of such relationships. The title pays homage to a classic film associated with Atharvaa’s father, Murali, reflecting the theme of unrequited love explored in ‘Idhayam Murali’.
In the teaser, Atharvaa’s character, Idhayam Murali, is depicted as witnessing a proposal while in the US, triggering a series of events that lead to his return to India. Noteworthy is the return of music director Thaman to acting in this film, with Thaman also handling the music composition. The movie boasts a diverse cast, including Natty, Niharika NM, Rakshan, and others, alongside Atharvaa, Preity Mukundhan, Kayadu Lohar, and Thaman.
Cinematography for ‘Idhayam Murali’ is managed by Manoj Paramahamsa, with editing by Pradeep E Ragav. Senthilkumar Kesavan serves as the co-director, while the dialogues are penned by Ramanagirivasan, Aakash Baskaran, and Dravid Selvam.
