Actor Chethan Cheenu, known for his daring action scenes in the upcoming film ‘Valluvan’, shared in an interview that he felt he was about to die while performing a dangerous stunt for the movie. He mentioned that the film, inspired by a real-life event, required him to execute risky sequences without a body double, including a nerve-wracking jump from the fifth floor of a building.

In one of the perilous shots, Chethan was confined in a drum that was filled with smoke without prior warning, causing him to panic momentarily. Despite the intense experience, he expressed satisfaction that the shot turned out well. ‘Valluvan’, based on four verses from a classic Tamil text, stars Ashna Zaveri alongside Chethan Cheenu, supported by a talented cast including Sai Dheena and Prem Kumar.

The film, set to premiere on June 12, is a production of Shylekumar Rajendran under Aarupadai Productions, directed by Shankar Sarathi, with editing by San Lokesh. Suresh Bala handled the cinematography, while Ashwath composed the music.
