Actor and producer Dev Ramnath clarified that his recent statement about actor Vijay’s fans was misconstrued. He emphasized that he is not in a position to warn fans of a stalwart like Vijay. Ramnath expressed his respect for Vijay and highlighted the hard work put into their recent film projects.

Ramnath welcomed constructive criticism but stressed the importance of fair judgment for films. He noted the effort and dedication invested by the team behind the films and urged for responsible critique. He criticized the trend of unjustly pulling down films, emphasizing the need for a supportive industry environment.

Regarding the film ‘Jana Nayakan’, Ramnath voiced disapproval of the negative treatment it received. He highlighted the detrimental impact of unwarranted criticism on the film industry and called for collective responsibility among stakeholders to uplift the industry. Ramnath underscored the need for a more positive and encouraging industry culture.

The film ‘Parasakthi’, directed by Sudha Kongara, delves into the historical context of the anti-Hindi agitation in Tamil Nadu during the 1960s. Starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sreeleela, the movie also features Ravi Mohan and Atharvaa in significant roles. With music by G V Prakash and cinematography by Ravi K Chandran, the film was released on January 10 for the Pongal festival.
