Actor Harishankar Narayanan, a former sports analyst with the IPL team Mumbai Indians, has made his debut in Malayalam cinema with ‘Kattalan’. He plays one of the main villains in the movie alongside Antony Varghese.
Harishankar shared that the casting director of ‘Kattalan’ noticed him through his web series ‘Label’ and recommended him for the role of Nelson in the film. Excited about his Malayalam debut, Harishankar met the casting director in person to confirm his selection for the role.
The actor was initially informed that he had not been chosen for the part. However, a selfie he took with the casting director caught the attention of the film’s producer, who recognized him as the perfect fit for the character of Nelson in ‘Kattalan’.
