Actor Mandar Chandwadkar, famous for his role as Atmaram Tukaram Bhide in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,’ recently shared a photo with actors Rakesh Bedi and Dilip Joshi. He referred to them as “Dhurandhar” and “Legends.” Mandar expressed joy in working with these two accomplished actors.
In the popular show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,’ based on a column by Tarak Mehta, Mandar plays a significant role. The show, produced by Asit Kumarr Modi, is one of India’s longest-running TV series. It revolves around the lives of individuals residing in Gokuldham Co-operative Housing Society in Mumbai, showcasing diverse cultural backgrounds.
‘Dhurandhar,’ a successful project, is centered on a covert counter-terrorism operation. The storyline of the second installment involves an Indian intelligence agent infiltrating criminal syndicates in Karachi, addressing the aftermath of the 26/11 attacks. The film features renowned actors like Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, and Sanjay Dutt.
Apart from his TV roles, Mandar Chandwadkar is actively involved in theatre. Since 1998, he has been part of various Hindi-Marathi comedies and has directed one-act plays. With a vast experience in Hindi and Marathi teleserials, Mandar has contributed to over 30 productions.
