Actor Rahul Bhat, portraying the lead character in the upcoming movie ‘Kennedy,’ describes his role as lonely, angry, and vulnerable. The film’s trailer, released recently, hints at a storyline filled with silence, rage, and survival as Kennedy becomes entangled in a perilous conspiracy involving explosives and powerful adversaries. Bhat expressed how embodying Kennedy was emotionally draining yet fulfilling, with audiences at festivals resonating with the character.

The movie, helmed by Anurag Kashyap, showcases stylized action and Kashyap’s distinctive noir storytelling. Set in Mumbai, the narrative follows Kennedy Uday Shetty, a former cop turned contract killer who leads a double life as a cab driver while executing hits for a corrupt Police Commissioner. Haunted by personal tragedies, Kennedy seeks redemption in a city unwilling to release him from his past. The cast includes Sunny Leone, Mohit Takalkar, Megha Burman, and others in significant roles.

Anurag Kashyap described ‘Kennedy’ as a deeply personal project, emphasizing the character’s internal struggles despite his outward violence. Sunny Leone, who plays a pivotal role in the film, shared how the character challenged her emotionally, pushing her boundaries as an actor. The film, promising a dark and captivating narrative, is scheduled to premiere on ZEE5 on February 20, 2026.
