Actor and host Rithvik Dhanjani, known for his role in Pavitra Rishta, clarified his decision to stay away from mainstream television despite staying active on other platforms. He expressed missing the TV set environment but mentioned that the offered stories haven’t captivated him enough to return to fiction television. Rithvik emphasized his deliberate shift towards exploring new storytelling formats in recent years.
Reflecting on his absence from TV, Rithvik shared that he misses being on a fiction set but hasn’t found the right stories that resonate with him. He highlighted his efforts to venture into different formats like web series and films to break away from his familiar acting spaces. Rithvik emphasized that reinvention is a gradual process that shouldn’t be rushed, allowing things to unfold naturally.
Rithvik, who gained fame through Pavitra Rishta in 2011, played the role of Arjun Kirloskar opposite Asha Negi. The show, a creation of Ekta Kapoor, became a beloved drama series in Indian television history. Currently, Rithvik is gearing up to participate in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi season 15.
