“As ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ wraps up its 18-year run, actress-dancer Lauren Gottlieb, a former contestant from the third season, expressed how the show transformed her life and opened doors to global film opportunities. Debuting in Hindi cinema with ‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’ in 2013, Lauren reminisced on Instagram, sharing a video from the show’s premiere in 2005. Reflecting on the show’s conclusion, she described it as ‘the end of an era’ and recalled her journey from an 18-year-old contestant in 2007 to participating in subsequent All-Star seasons.”

“Lauren credited ‘SYTYCD’ for shaping her future, leading to her role in ‘ABCD’ after being noticed by Remo D’Souza due to the show’s global reach. Even after 19 years, she encounters fans worldwide who remember her from the show, emphasizing the universal impact of dance. Grateful for the show’s influence, Lauren extended her appreciation to everyone involved, including the cast, crew, choreographers, judges, and fans, inviting them to share their favorite memories in the comments section for a nostalgic celebration.”

“Following her Bollywood debut, Lauren appeared as a runner-up on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’s sixth season with choreographer Punit Pathak and later served as a judge on the eighth season. Transitioning to Punjabi cinema in 2016 with ‘Ambarsariya,’ she most recently starred in the 2025 film ‘Single Salma’ alongside Huma Qureshi, Sunny Singh, and Shreyas Talpade.”
