Actor Sharib Hashmi recently delighted his Instagram followers by sharing a childhood memory related to the iconic musician, Michael Jackson. Hashmi posted a sketch of Michael Jackson that he drew at the age of 12 in 1988, complete with his signature.
In a heartwarming revelation, Hashmi expressed how his love for Michael Jackson has transcended generations, as his 12-year-old daughter is now also a devoted fan of the legendary artist. He also shared a picture taken in 2022 with his daughter at Madame Tussauds in New York.
The ‘The Family Man’ actor captioned the post with, “I made this #MichaelJackson sketch when I was 12… and today, my 12-year-old daughter has also become a fan of him!! The love for this man goes beyond generations. Bole toh Bhai allag level hai (sic).”
Hashmi concluded his post by sharing two pictures, one from 1988 and the other from 2022 at Madame Tussauds NYC, along with hashtags related to Michael Jackson and the iconic status he holds.
For those unaware, the biographical film “Michael,” based on the life of the late ‘King Of Pop,’ was released on April 24 this year. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the movie portrays Michael Jackson’s journey from his time in the Jackson 5 during the 1960s to the 1980s Bad tour.
In the biopic, Michael Jackson is portrayed by his nephew Jaafar Jackson, with notable appearances by Nia Long, Juliano Valdi, KeiLyn Durrel Jones, Laura Harrier, Jessica Sula, Mike Myers, Miles Teller, Colman Domingo, and others in significant roles.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher also recently reminisced about his memorable encounter with Michael Jackson in 1996 during the singer’s visit to India. Kher shared that he was completely starstruck when he shook hands with the late King of Pop.
