Veteran actor Suvinder Vicky, who started his career during the DD National era, acknowledges the significant technological advancements in the entertainment industry. Despite the shift from VCRs and VHS cassettes to the digital age, Vicky emphasizes that the fundamental essence of acting, characterized by sincerity and intensity, remains unchanged. He stresses the importance of giving one’s best, as true dedication is what truly defines an actor.

Suvinder Vicky highlights that one’s commitment and effort are crucial in gaining recognition as an actor. While acknowledging the changes brought about by technology, he asserts that the core values of acting have stood the test of time. Vicky’s recent project, “Shabad – Reet aur Riwaaz,” explores intricate human relationships against a rich narrative backdrop, showcasing authentic performances and heartfelt storytelling.

The series revolves around Ghuppi, a young football enthusiast whose aspirations clash with his father’s desire for him to uphold the family’s musical legacy. Supported by a talented cast including Mahi Raj and Taranjit Kaur, the show, directed by Ameet Guptha, offers a poignant portrayal of familial bonds and cultural traditions. “Shabad – Reet aur Riwaaz” unfolds as a touching family drama set in Punjab, encapsulating themes of faith, tradition, and personal aspirations.
