Actor Taha Shah Badussha Gets Emotional as “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar” Completes Two Years

Actor Taha Shah Badussha became emotional as his show “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar” marked its two-year anniversary since its release. Taking to social media, he shared memories from the series and thanked filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the opportunity. Taha posted stills from the show, showcasing his royal character and moments with co-star Sharmin Segal.

Taha expressed gratitude to Netflix India and Bhansali Productions for involving him in the project. He reminisced about his experience working with a talented cast and learning valuable lessons on set. Playing the character Tajdar, he learned about love, grace, and courage, reflecting on the impact of the role on his life.

Acknowledging the continued support from fans, Taha mentioned the lasting impact of his character on viewers. He appreciated the love and messages received, emphasizing the significance of the connection with the audience. Taha concluded by expressing his gratitude for the affection shown towards his character, Tajdar.

Discussing “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,” the series premiered on an OTT platform in 2024, featuring a star-studded ensemble cast. Taha’s portrayal of Tajdar Baloch, a sensitive and romantic young nawab, resonated strongly with the audience. Actress Sharmin Segal, who played Alamzeb opposite Taha, faced both praise and criticism during the show’s promotion due to her interviews.
