Actor Tiger Shroff commemorated his 12-year journey in Bollywood by revisiting the promotion of his debut film “Heropanti.” In a video shared on social media, the ‘Baaghi’ star showcased impressive dance moves on the song “Pappi” from the 2014 romantic movie. The clip also captured him displaying his fitness with some high kicks during the event.
Taking a stroll down memory lane, Tiger captioned the post with nostalgia, reminiscing about his first-ever promotion, stating, “Gosh time flies…my first ever promotion…jab chota baccha tha #heropanti (sic).” “Heropanti,” directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala for Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, narrates the tale of two young lovers navigating a tumultuous environment.
The film, a remake of the Bengali movie “Shedin Dekha Hoyechilo,” not only marked Tiger’s debut but also introduced actress Kriti Sanon to the industry. Apart from Tiger and Kriti, the cast includes Prakash Raj, Sandeepa Dhar, Vikram Singh, Shireesh Sharma, Samar Jai Singh, K. C. Shankar, and Sunil Grover in significant roles. The cinematography was handled by Hari K. Vedantam, with editing by Manan Ajay Sagar.
A sequel to the film, “Heropanti 2,” featuring Tiger Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Tara Sutaria, was released in 2022. Additionally, Kriti Sanon also marked her 12-year milestone in the entertainment industry by sharing a fan-made collage showcasing her memorable characters over the years. She expressed her excitement at being part of the magical world of movies for over a decade.
In another post, Kriti shared a video clip from her debut film ‘Heropanti,’ where she was seen relishing gol gappas in a fun scene. The actress humorously mentioned, “Haha I’m such a foodie that my first shot on screen in my debut Hindi film was having gol gappas.”
