Actor Umesh Kamat, preparing for the release of the Marathi series ‘Hey Kay Navin?’, discussed his collaboration with actress Priya Bapat in the show. The series portrays a different phase of their relationship compared to their previous works together. Kamat revealed that certain scenes felt relatable, drawing parallels between his character and real-life personality dynamics.
He expressed that the writing by Varun captures universal themes that resonate with any couple, despite the distinct personalities of the characters. Kamat found authenticity in his interactions with Bapat on set, emphasizing the natural flow of their scenes. The actor acknowledged that the series did not alter his views on ‘being settled’ but offered insights into women’s perspectives in various scenarios.
